President's Weekend in Sun Valley

Josh, Brendan and I all were able to go to Sun Valley to visit Josh's family over President's Day Weekend. It is always a long trip but SO worth it when we get there. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone.

Brendan had so much fun playing with his Grammy and Grammpy and his cousin Dirk.






We were also all able to go skiing together. It was a beautiful day as always in Sun Valley--fresh snow, sunshine, and great family time...doesn't get much better. Thank you everyone for a special weekend!

On our way home we were able to stop and see Josh's Dad, Grandma Donna and cousin Danielle as well as friends Steve and Kitty. We had a quick but wonderful lunch.

Joy of Running

I love to run! It helps melt away all the stress of the day, helps me to process and organize my thoughts, helps me to come up with creative ideas, and gives me some GREAT time with the Lord!! My sister and I have made a commitment to run a 1/2 marathon together this summer (we're looking at doing one the day before my 30th birthday)! This weekend I got to go on a run with a friend of mine who is training for a marathon. It was awesome. The sun was out, the air smelled like spring, it was great conversation, and I came home feeling like a much better Mom and Wife. I was able to run a little over 7 miles. It was encouraging to know that I'm already fairly far along in my training. What a gift to get to have a joy of running.
